Comedy of Errors
My real life lately has been a quintessential comedy of errors. I've never seen so much up-and-down with anything as what I've been through lately, and the fallout is that I've not been on the game as much as I'd like. Fortunately, I'm pretty sure things are stabilizing now (God willing!), so hopefully that's over and done with.
I did return today to an exciting find. My new ingame character request system is apparently seeing some use, because I've had about four new character requests and three alt requests posted within the last few days. This was a nice chance to really give the Character Request system a serious test, and not only did it perform admirably, the going was really fast and easy. I like things fast and easy, I must say.
Also, I'd like to post a cheerful little shout-out to the students at Brigham Young University in Utah. It seems to happen that each 'season', we get a visit from a student at a given college who then passes the word among his or her peers, and then we get a burst of requests from that school within a short period. Previous schools representing this trend include Harding University in Arkansas and Franciscan University in Ohio. We're now apparently adding BYU to our Friends and Family list. I won't name names (as you all know how I feel about that) but suffice it to say that some of the new names you'll see on the WHOlist will be our new friends from BYU.
I have two projects on the table at present. I'll be working with those over the next few days, so stay posted for updates.
