SOPA/PIPA and NarniaMUCK

Dear MUCKers,

We at NarniaMUCK don't want this to be a place to push political agendas. For this reason, and because of our numerous non-American players, we will not be blacking out in protest of SOPA/PIPA. Instead, we've chosen this less extreme measure to inform you that SOPA/PIPA has the possibility of affecting our game if it passes. We're bidding a fond farewell to 2007 today, as all of you no doubt know.  For us here at NarniaMUCK, this means reflecting upon a year that saw us meeting some awesome new players, the opening of new areas in the game, and the White Stag NarniaCon.

2008 is already shaping up to be interesting.  With another Narnia movie coming out in May, we expect to welcome in even more new players, and to that end we've streamlined the request process and brought up a website that is easier to navigate and update.

We hope you all had a safe and fun New Years' celebration, and we look forward to spending 2008 with you!
