Downtime

Those who were online tonight already know this, but for those who weren't and our visitors:

Narnia MUCK's server died tonight...

This may have been the cause of the gratuitous lag that users experienced early in the day, but suffice it to say that for the time being, the MUCK is offline. It will remain so until we can get another hard drive set up and ready to roll. Ideally, this shouldn't take long, but I would be remiss in my duties if I didn't acknowledge that very well might take a few days, or perhaps even longer.

Please know that we're just as unhappy about this as all of you are. We apologize for the inconvenience, and we invite you to stay with us on the forums. We also invite you to meet up with us at UniversityMUCK (muck.university.org, port 2052 ) for chatting and such until we're back online.

The very good news is that when we ARE back online, we'll have lost only a day or so ingame. This means we'll be back on track very quickly once the game is back up.
